The Saskatchewan Health Authority provides us an annual grant to cover a portion of our daily operating expenses (e.g., wages, groceries and supplies).
Additional and necessary work is ours to fund.
Our building is beautiful and spacious, with lots of natural light. But we always have need for additional updates and special touches (see below). These impact the daily lives of the 147 very special residents who live here .
As our building ages and new technologies emerge, your generosity becomes increasingly crucial in helping ensure your loved ones have access to:
- New equipment and technology that supports safe, quality care (e.g., more Broda chairs, new tubs and refreshed tub rooms, air mattresses, etc.),
- Meaningful and engaging recreational programming (e.g., more live music and resources to enhance programming),
- Spiritual care services (e.g., one-on-one visiting, chapel and prayer services, etc.), and
- Holistic, compassionate care (e.g., staff education and training on recent developments in dementia care and palliative care).
