Admission to Long-Term Care
Santa Maria offers 135 private rooms with attached half-baths for the care and comfort of residents and 6 double rooms. We are affiliated with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. They provide the majority of our operational funding, complete eligibility assessments for people considering moving in and arrange the approval and placement for long-term residents.
All admissions are handled by the System Wide Admission Discharge Department (SWADD). They can be reached at (306) 766-7200. Admissions are prioritized on a district-wide basis.
The cost of accommodation is based on income and will be calculated by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health. For more information of calculation of fees you can phone them at 1-800-667-4884. The fee is standard in all Special Care Homes in the province.
