What does your generosity support?

There are many programs and initiatives you can donate to that support us in the important work we do on your behalf for your loved ones.

You can target your generous donation to any of our projects or to our general fund (and we will allocate your donation to the project most in need). Our current projects include:

  • Hall Transformation Project – Following on our Foundation’s 2015 success in raising the funds required to buy new furniture for every resident room, we are now focused on fundraising to transform our care floor hallways and living spaces. We need to refresh those spaces (new paint, handrails, bedroom doors, toilets, tubs, showers and tub rooms, windows with broken seals, etc). We also aspire to living spaces for your loved ones that are less institutional in appearance and that feel more like a home.
  • Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program and Spiritual Care – Santa Maria is proud to host (with the support of our Foundation) the CPE program. CPE is an accredited program, recognized nationally and internationally for its training of professional Spiritual-care providers. Students (including priests, pastors, and spiritual care providers) and graduates serve in a variety of settings such as care homes and hospitals. Many students complete practicums in Santa Maria, providing direct and important benefits to residents, families, visitors and staff. You know how meaningful it is to have quality spiritual care services available within the health care system.

We are committed to providing a home where residents can live out there life-giving spirituality, regardless of faith or creed.

Your donations to CPE and Spiritual Care programs help to provide:

    • Presence and Listening
    • Encouragement and Celebration
    • Comfort
  • Recreation – You have seen the immediate benefit our Recreation Team brings to your loved one. Meaningful and engaging recreational activities are always popular. Please consider a donation today to support this important work and we will use your generosity to provide more live music and resources to enhance programming.
  • General – Not sure which project to target and want us to allocate based on our most pressing need? Just indicate “general” and we will assign it for you.
